Petr Koukal je už ze hry, vyřadil ho Hurskainen, který v následném zápase rovněž odjel balit kufry na hotel. Porazil ho nejlepší hráč Evropy Jan O Jorgensen. V další části pavouka se do semifinále probil dánský kralevic Viktor Axelsen, takže nás čeká nadherné semifinále v podání těchto dvou Evropanů.  Na vítěze tohoto utkání již čeká ve finále Číňan Houwei Tian. „Hey guys. Great performance today. I beat Henri Hurskainen from Sweden in straight sets. Im happy with the way the game developed. The begginning was quite tense and struggled a bit finding the right rhythm. After the break my speed and pace got better and Henri had problems following it. Im happy to be in the semifinal for the second year in a row here at Swiss and i hope i can go at least a step further tomorrow! Im fit and ready for a tough challenge, its either gonna be my compatriot Viktor or Rajiv Ouseph from England.
